I had approached a number of seamstress’s and wedding dress alteration companies who only made me feel rushed (as I only had less than 2 months before the wedding) and were quoting much higher amounts without even having seen the dress or understood the alterations required.I had bought a size 12 sample dress and needed it resized and fitted, being a small size 8 this was a big change considering the dress was a close fitted sheath style. Florence made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed including many laughs as well as practice walks down the “aisle” ensuring I felt comfortable and the dress fitted perfectly. I was provided with an accurate price for all the work which included all my fittings after the first pinning and I was surprised how well the dress fit at only the second fitting. Florence was also kind enough to offer to pack my dress in my suitcase (being an overseas wedding) to ensure minimal creases and even recommended the correct undergarments ensuring no bumps were visible beneath.Florence’s wealth of experience in the fashion and wedding industry meant that when she said, “Please do not worry, your dress in in safe hands,” that I could completely trust her recommendations – and I am glad I did. She would always be happy to explain why she would make certain changes and make the slightest adjustments in the 2nd and 3rd fittings to ensure perfection was achieved – only the pictures attached to my review can do Florence’s work and skill justice.I am not only extremely happy with the result, which turned out much better than I could have expected, but it was an absolute pleasure to meet and chat to Florence.Thank you, Florence, for being the best part of my wedding dress experience."
